    ​Hi All,

    Could anyone provided information about the QLD regulations for 240v inverter systems/power points fitted to light commercial and heavy vehicles, in particular do these power points and systems need to be routinely checked every 6 months by a licensed certified electrician?

    ​Ben, yes for T&T.

    If they are just for cordless battery chargers buy the 12VDC version.

    If they are running sandwich toasters off them...god help us!

    ​I believe they do have to be checked, just the same as generators.
    I endorse the comments of others that unless absolutely necessary, go for the 12v battery chargers rather than these units.
