Thanks Vanessa,
There is a hot water/steam weed sprayer available. I know Manly Council in Sydney have used (maybe still using) it, and we trialled it in Mosman when I was there 10 years ago. Worked well, but the cost was alot more than herbicides unfortunately. I can use that option in our report though, so thanks for the reminder of that option.

Martin,
I am not sure how you would apply this in a commercial use situation, but I use boiling water at home, it kills all of our weeds including the tough ones such as marshmellow weeds! Maybe there are implements out there that can heat water to high temperatures as the water is discharged? Google may assist, or Alibaba. :) I'll be interested to hear some other responses.

Hi All,
Is anybody using or has trialled organic herbicides such as Pine Oil? We are investigating options for alternatives to Glyphosate (or brushcutting) and would like some opinions on how successful, or not successful it is.
