NAMS+ Mentoring Service

The NAMS+ Mentoring Service is a new service developed to assist subscribing organisations to achieve the most from your investment in NAMS+. This tailored program will take you through these 3 stages to successful implementation and continued usage of the toolkit.

NAMS+ Mentoring Service - What you get

A customised mentoring service including;
- Discovery Consultation with senior IPWEA Asset Management experts to identify your needs and objectives
- Design – IPWEA experts design a mentoring program comprising of group and individual sessions, delivered online over a 6-month period
- Implement – individual and group sessions rolled out online.

As part of the package you also receive:

1 x Registration in the IPWEA Professional Certificate in Asset Management Planning – upskill a key team member in the NAMS+ process

NAMS+ Mentors

	Allen Mapstone Director, Strategic Asset Management, IPWEA Australasia Allen holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering along with post graduate management qualifications. He has extensive experience in all aspects of asset management planning, operations and corporate planning. Allen has senior experience in local government asset management and has been involved in many projects throughout Australia as well as implementing improved asset management practices in Canada. This includes work with the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), and a number of Australian State Government Departments to implement the organisational maturity improvements for asset management and financial reporting. Since 2006, Allen has been the principle trainers and developers for the IPWEA NAMS+ asset management toolkit and has provided training extensively across Australia and in Canada.
	Steve Walker Principal, Asset Engineering Steve is an experienced Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ experience in the practical application of infrastructure management gained from private consultancy and senior positions in Local Government. He has a passion for innovation and improvement and is involved in the further development of Local Government through the technical application of asset management and associated training. Steve has been working with the IPWEA since 2007 in the development and resourcing of the NAMS+ program.
