12 years including 6 on the Victorian board.

Why did you become an IPWEA Member?

I was introduced to IPWEA by a work colleague, attended a regional session, and liked the opportunity to connect with like minded people.

What are the benefits for your role/career?

There are numerous learning and networking opportunities associated with being a member of IPWEA. I have met many new acquaintances and reconnected with old acquaintances since being a member. Aside from the professional development opportunities, it has provided me with the opportunity to connect with numerous professionals that I wouldn’t have otherwise.

What would you say to someone considering a membership?

I would highly recommend anyone considering a membership to join and become involved in the many ways you can interact through the organisation.
