The Board of IPWEA SA is excited about finally being able to hold our Conference and Excellence Awards at the Convention Centre Adelaide on 13 November 2020.

After a challenging year globally with the pandemic it will be fantastic to get back to face to face engagement across the industry and with our members.

The Conference Theme is “Public Works in the Circular Economy” and is such a relevant theme that will provide delegates with insights, examples and trends in how waste is being reused in the delivery of infrastructure projects across South Australia.

The Excellence Awards Dinner that evening will be a celebration in what has been a difficult year for public works professionals.  The Awards categories are:  Best Public Works Project Under $2.0m; Best Public Works Project $2.0m - $5.0m; Best Public Works Project over $5.0m; Excellence in Asset Management;  Excellence in Project Innovation; Excellence in Water Project; Excellence in Road Safety; Excellence in Environment & Sustainability; Professional of the Year; and Young IPWEA Emerging Leader. 

On the evening of November 12 there will be a special event focussed on Asset Management at West Torrens Council offices, to stimulate a renewed focus on this important aspect of infrastructure management.
