Question onAsset Management Policies, Procedures guidance for Fleet and Construction Equipment
I need some guidance in identifying the standards, best practices, and performance KPIs for a Heavy Equipment Rental organization. I understand the ISO 55K standards are applicable for all sectors which are involved in management of Physical assets. However, I need some guidelines specific for the industry which I can reference and tailor to prepare their Policies, SAMP, and associated plans. Besides, I am also looking for guidance around what would be the typical KPIs / Measures for a similar organization to be factored.

Hi Gul The IPWEA Plant and Vehicle Management Manual Ed4 lists a range of Fleet Asset, Fleet Management and Fleet Maintenance KPI's both in the introductory section and at Chapter 13. This may be of use in establishing KPIs for your business.
