What is it with people wanting to live in the past!

I tell you, if some of the people I’ve met lately had their way we’d be fashioning horseshoes in the forge and putting steel tyres on wagon wheels!

Change is inevitable and we need to be at the front end holding the reins – not at the back cleaning up the manure! – Have I taken the horse analogy too far?

Seriously – Lets grasp new technology and all the potential benefits. The diagnostic equipment that is available, the smart electrical systems on new vehicles, new high performing engines, smart control systems on plant, electric vehicle batteries, even management apps – just amazing!

I reckon this lot are scared to learn or try something new, afraid of failure, too lazy to make the effort or all the above!

There are some great training courses available from industry bodies, colleges and even manufacturers. Get off your backside and have a look!!

I don’t care if you’re an operator, a mechanic, or the CEO – let’s be on the front foot and see how we can use this new tech to our advantage.
