WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

Senior and Mid-Level Managers and practitioners involved in the planning, design, procurement, construction, maintenance and management of public infrastructure assets for local communities, including data collection and information management.

WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND:

HEAR from a range of presenters from across local government, including IPWEA NZ, SOLGM, LGNZ, Water NZ, and Transport Analytics Governance Group (TAGG).

PARTICIPATE in discussions about the challenges and issues facing managers and practitioners involved in the planning, design, procurement, management and maintenance of public infrastructure for local communities.

CONTRIBUTE to the development of the 2015 National Infrastructure Plan over the next two days at the NIU Forum.

THE FOCUS:

The Local Government Infrastructure Management Forum will focus on current issues and challenges in infrastructure management in the Local Government sector, referencing findings by the Office of the Auditor General, the NIU and Local Government New Zealand. It will segue into the NIU Forum, which will focus on the specific challenges facing New Zealand infrastructure and work through options to address these.  The input from attendees at the Forum will directly shape the 2015 New Zealand Infrastructure Plan, due for release in August.
